An Ode to Rain

Oh how sweet it is to feel the ecstasy of the rain

The downpour of relief to wash away the sins of the summer

The hope and hand of God working directly in front of man

It rarely feels so sweet and so obvious

I stand with God, outside, in His Home

Embracing the sounds and sensation of the truth

And even if I move inside a soulful sanctuary

The truth shines through, above and beyond the walls

I feel the relief of the rain in my comfort

Oh how sweet it is

To have a day off
